Community Resources

COVID-19, commonly referred to as coronavirus, is a novel coronavirus that was first identified in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China in November 2019. After the initial infections were identified in individuals who ingested animals purchased at a Wuhan City live animal market, it began spreading via person-to-person contact. By the beginning of March it had spread to 114 countries, leading to the World Health Organization (WHO) declaring a global pandemic on March 11th, 2020. With an increase in the anticipated number of reported cases and deaths in the coming months, updates and information are being shared with the community as they are made available.
