Jennie Wei has been working as an Internal Medicine Physician at Gallup Indian Medical Center since 2012, spending half of her clinical time as a hospitalist and half as a primary care physician.  She also founded the Gallup IHS Transgender Clinic in 2013, which provides primary care, hormone therapy and peer support for transgender patients.  She received her undergraduate, medical degree and master of public health at Harvard and completed Internal Medicine residency and Chief Residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she is an Assistant Clinical Professor.  She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine.

Trans and Gender Affirming Care ECHO Program

Jennie is Faculty Emeritus for the Trans and Gender Affirming Care ECHO Program, which is designed to coach providers in giving appropriate, high-quality care to gender-diverse patients.
