Lane Holcomb

Faculty

“Feeling seen wasn’t something I was used to growing up. Maybe in the sense I was someone’s token Native friend, but never was that representation mirrored until years later. This is what inspires me to do the work I do for the Trans and Gender-Affirming Care ECHO, knowing there’s someone who has been in the same shoes on the home side of the court.”

Lane Holcomb is from Vian, Oklahoma. She is 23 years old and is a trans woman of the Cherokee Nation. Lane is currently a student at Carl Albert State College, where she is majoring in psychology and sociology.

Trans and Gender-Affirming Care ECHO Program

Lane is faculty with the Trans and Gender-Affirming Care ECHO Program, which is designed to coach providers in giving appropriate, high-quality care to gender-diverse patients.
