“I love the model and utility of Indian Country ECHO and how it enables those in rural locations to access specialty care recommendations without added burden to the patients. I believe that we are all connected and that we have a responsibility and privilege to care for each other. I am motivated to provide health care, dignity, and kindness to the people I work with and for. I strive to address and break down disparities in access to health care services. “When I started doing this work, the people I cared about were dying from AIDS, hepatitis, and overdose. Many of the deaths related to injection drug use are preventable, so I wanted to help give people the tools they need to stay alive.
