Improving Vaccine Hesitancy | September 24, 2020
In this series of presentations, Dr. Allison Empey, Pediatrician, reviews a common case study in vaccine hesitancy. Then, Dr. Thomas Weiser, Medical Epidemiologist at the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board, shares a brief overview of current vaccination rates in Indian Country. Finally, Dr. Ryan Hassan, Pediatrician serving on the Boost Oregon Medical Advisory Board, provides an overview of immunizations, and common strategies to empower clinicians to become better advocates for their patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
