Dr. Shelby Parker, MD, MPH, EMT-P, is an emergency medicine physician and EMS fellow at the University of New Mexico. She earned her medical degree magna cum laude from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2021, where she also completed a Master of Public Health. Dr. Parker completed her emergency medicine residency at the University of Rochester-Strong Memorial Hospital. She is affiliated with Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her professional interests include pre-hospital medicine, rural and tribal healthcare, and medical education. Beyond her medical career, Dr. Parker is passionate about circus arts, weightlifting, hiking, and scuba diving.
