Dr. Elizabeth Eckstrom is a geriatric doctor who leads the geriatrics practice within OHSU’s internal medicine clinic and is co-director of OHSU’s Health Aging Alliance. She teaches medical students, residents, fellows and faculty to care for older adults. She and her team also work to improve quality of care for older adults admitted to OHSU hospital. Her research focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle in older adults, with an emphasis on tai chi for fall prevention.
