We invite you to join Indian Country ECHO for a Grand Rounds focused on effectively integrating HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services in Indian Health Service, Tribal and Urban Indian clinics. In this presentation, Andrew Yu, MS, BSN, RN, ACRN, National HIV/HCV/STI Clinical Coordinator at Indian Health Service Headquarters, and Whitney Essex, MSN, FNP-BC, ECHO faculty member and Family Nurse Practitioner with Infectious Diseases at Cherokee Nation Health Services, will share valuable insights around clinical/laboratory evaluation prior to prescribing PrEP, rational for labs, interpretation of HIV and HBV serology, treatment considerations, discuss counseling prior to and during PrEP delivery, recommended regimens, and potential side effects from PrEP.

The one-hour Grand Rounds session includes an opportunity to engage in a didactic presentation, gain insight on how I/T/U facilities may effectively integrate HIV PrEP services, become part of a learning community and join an Infectious Disease ECHO program.
