In this series of presentations, Leslie Stewart, MD, Infectious Diseases physician at the IHS Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, LT Jade-Ngoc Brookfield, PharmD, clinical pharmacist at Gallup Indian Medical Center and Rydell J. Curley, HIV Health Technician in the Public Health Nursing Department at the IHS Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, share valuable insights around clinical/laboratory evaluation prior to prescribing HIV PrEP, rational for labs, interpretation of HIV and HBV serology, treatment considerations, discuss counseling prior to and during PrEP delivery, recommended regimens, and potential side effects from PrEP. Leslie Stewart, MD, is an infectious diseases physician who has worked in Chinle, Arizona since 2018. She has a special interest in pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV (PrEP) and HIV care. She completed her internal medicine and infectious diseases training at the University of Pennsylvania where she is an adjunct assistant professor. Leslie is board certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine.

Jade-Ngoc Brookfield, PharmD, is a clinical pharmacist at Gallup Indian Medical Center, Indian Health Service.

Rydell J. Curley, is a HIV Health Technician in the Public Health Nursing Department at the IHS Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility.
