Dr. Ben Smith

Ben Smith, MD, is a Primary Care Physician and Addiction Specialist in Portland OR, at Central City Concern, an inner-city health and treatment center. He supervises Addiction Medicine Fellows in the Oregon Health and Sciences University Addiction Medicine Fellowship, and he serves as a consultant on the Substance Use Warmline, a consultation line based at University of California-San Francisco. He completed his medical education at Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health and trained in family medicine at Stanford-O’Connor Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. Prior to medical school, Ben worked at a treatment center in Cody, Wyoming, which serves the Eastern Shoshone and Crow peoples.
