In this presentation, Jeremy Hubbard, MS (Criminal Justice), describes the non-monetary positive impacts of Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) on both community and incarcerated Justice Involved Adults in Jackson County in Oregon. Furthermore, he recognizes the significant positive financial and capacity outcomes of patient caseloads and related programs, and details the “Champion” strategy for creating such program partnerships and connections with Community Corrections.

Jeremy Hubbard, MS (Criminal Justice), served 16 years as a Parole Officer (PO) in Jackson County, OR. He led the design of a MOUD program for Jackson County Jail and Community Justice Transition Center, and continues to advocate for similar programs. He currently serves as the Community Health Director for Oasis Center of the Rogue Valley and Owner of Liminal Justice Consulting, LLC.
