The 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey (USTS) was the largest survey ever devoted to the lives and experiences of transgender people, with 27,715 respondents across the United States. The 2022 US Trans Survey (USTS) aims to be even larger, with a targeted participation of more than 40,000 respondents across the United States. The 2022 USTS will be conducted by the National Center for Transgender Equality, in partnership with the National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition, the TransLatin@ Coalition, and NQAPIA (National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance).

Alex discussed what the U.S trans survey is, why it is important and what has changed since the last U.S. trans survey in 2015. They also give many resources to providers for helping them get the survey to their patients and getting the research from their surveys to the people that need them most.
